21st century is now called as the century of mobile phone revolution. Mobile phone has become an inevitable part of our lives. From students to professionals, everyone use mobile phone in their day to day life. People has developed such a character that they can’t even live without a mobile phone.

It is a naked truth that mobile phone has really turned our lives more mobile. You can stay connected with your friends and family members where ever you go. Mobile phone has a million numbers of advantages. But as everyone say if something has a good face, and then surely it would have a bad face. Similarly, our beloved mobile phones have also many disadvantages which are unfortunately threatening to our lives. It is true that our mobile phones have several health hazards. Actually our mobile phone is a microwave transmitter. Microwaves are of gigahertz range. It means that it would oscillate about million to billion times per second. The microwave exposure and cancer have close relation. Because these microwave frequencies can interfere with the proper structure of DNA and also triggers cell aging. In 1993 the telecom industry spent about $25 million to promote the mobile phones by conducting researches on its effects and certified that mobile phones are cent percent safe. But now it has turned out to be just the opposite. Studies have proved that usage of mobile phones inside the automobiles will increase the strength of the microwave field. These high magnitude electro magnetic fields are definitely injurious to health. The studies conducted in various parts of the world tell us the fact that the percentage of brain cancer patients have increased after the revolution of mobile phones. The effects of these radiations have greater impact on the children. So do keep away your mobile phones from the reach of your children. It is found out that the intensity of microwave radiation is greater in the keypads and at the microphone mouthpiece. So this causes radiation to have direct impact on the eye, ear and nose. Placing your mobile phone close to your ear causes radiation to have its impact on the brain. As short term usage won’t risk your life. But a longer version could bring trouble. So it is always advisable to use a headset while taking on your mobile phone. But still this won’t help you get away from cancer. It sure keeps your mobile away from the brain and head but it surely will have an impact on your liver and heart if you are placing your mobile phone in your pocket. So it is better to not even use a mobile phone! But as you all know that we have brought our lives in to such positions that we can’t even think about leading a life without mobile phones. For millions of years, the amount of radiation is very low. But after the mobile phone revolution this amount has just doubled since two or three decades.

These studies and facts are trying to get our attention in to a potential danger of using mobile phones. Why do we love a thing which is going to kill you anyway? So every one of those who are reading this should be aware of the fact that mobile phones are a potential danger to your health.
